Dear Maple Avenue Faculty and Staff,
Welcome to a new school year!
On behalf of the Maple Avenue Parents & Faculty Together (PFT), I'd like to wish you a wonderful start to the 2026-2027 school year. We're grateful for everything you do for our students each day, and we're excited to partner with you throughout the year.
One of the PFT's greatest priorities is supporting our incredible teachers and staff. We hope to make your jobs just a little easier so you can focus on what matters most... our students.
Classroom Reimbursement

The PFT is proud to continue providing classroom supply reimbursements to help offset out-of-pocket expenses.
Reimbursement Amounts
Classroom Teachers (Grades 1-4): $500
Unified Arts Teachers, Library, Guidance: $500
Reading, Math, Special Education, OT, SLP: $250
A reimbursement form can be found here.
To request reimbursement, simply email your completed form and copies of your receipts to:

PFT staff Grants
The Maple Avenue PFT is proud to offer two $500 Staff Grants each school year to support creative ideas that enhance the educational experience for our students.
These grants are intended for projects, programs, or resources that benefit a large number of students or the school community as a whole and are not intended to cover routine classroom expenses.
We encourage you to dream big, think creatively, and apply! The grant application can be downloaded here.

Our fundraisers and family events are only successful because of the support we receive from our faculty and staff.
Whether you're sharing an event in your classroom newsletter, displaying a flyer, encouraging participation, or simply cheering us on, your partnership makes a tremendous difference. We truly appreciate everything you do to help connect families with our school community.

The PFT is always looking for ways to better support our teachers and staff.
If you have ideas, suggestions, or see a need within the school, we'd love to hear from you. Our goal is to work together to make Maple Avenue an even better place for our students to learn and grow.
Kristen Baldyga serves as our Staff Liaison and is a wonderful resource for connecting the PFT with our faculty. We're grateful for her partnership and all she does to help strengthen communication between our school and the PFT.
You're also always welcome to reach out to me directly with questions, ideas, or feedback.

Our monthly PFT meetings are open to everyone, and we'd love to have you join us.
Meetings are held virtually, via Google Meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month (except September which will be 9/17/26)
