Welcome back to school! I look forward to working with you all to make the 2023-2024 School Year a success!

This year the PFT is happy to be continuing our tradition of supporting you and your classroom by assisting in providing reimbursement towards your classroom supplies. We have created a page on our website especially for you!
You are welcome to submit scans of your receipts and a file of your reimbursement form to mapleavenuepft@gmail.com, and our Treasurer, Holly Croteau, at hollycroteauPFT@gmail.com. A reimbursement form can be downloaded below.

1st to 4th grade teachers: $275 each

Unified Arts teachers: $275 each

Reading, Math, Special Education, OT, SLP, Media and Guidance: $100 each

Health Services Staff: $100
The PFT also offers two grants to the faculty and staff in the amount of $300 each. These grants are meant to cover the expenses for ventures that would benefit a large number of students, or the entire school, and are not meant to
cover regular classroom expenses. We hope that you will take advantage of this great grant program this year. The Grant Application can be dowloaded below.

Throughout the year the PFT holds multiple fundraisers and community events to raise money to support the school and its staff. We greatly appreciate your help in promoting these fundraisers in your weekly class newsletters, in your classrooms, and sending home event flyers. You, the faculty and staff, play a huge part in the success of our fundraisers and we are so thankful for your support!

The PFT welcomes to hear from you and work together to do great things for the Maple Avenue Elementary School Community. Kristen Baldyga is our PFT staff liaison. If you have any ideas, concerns, things we can do better, things
we should do more of, or anything else. We are so thankful for her and her support.
I also welcome you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
The PFT also would love to have you attend our monthly meetings, held via Zoom, at 7pm, on the second Thursday of every month. Our first meeting is Thursday September 14 at 7pm.
