The Staff Appreciation Committee has planned for several events to show our teachers and staff how much we love and appreciate all they do for our kiddos!

Planned Events for Staff Appreciation Week 2023 (May 1-5):

"Chalk the Walk"

Chalk will be out on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday May 7 for families to come and decorate the sidewalks and walkways leading up to the doors of Maple Avenue.  Families are encouraged to write messages and draw pictures for our staff to enjoy as they walk into work on Monday morning.

"Make Them Laugh Monday"

Have your student bring in their best joke to tell their favorite staff members.  PFT will be sponsoring a breakfast/coffee bar in the Staff lounge.

​

"Tuesday Treats"

Donated snacks and treats from the Maple Avenue Community will fill the staff lounge!

​

"Winning Wednesday" 

The Staff will be treated to a Raffle board in the Staff lounge full of prizes generously donated from our fantastic Community!

All gift card donations must be received by April 26th.

"Thankful Thursday"

Download a Thank You Letter Template for your student to fill out to give to their favorite staff members.  Not just the Teachers, don't forget our Paras, Admins, Special Ed Staff, Office, Custodians and Cafeteria staff!

"Favorite Friday"

Download our Staff's "Favorite Things" Spreadsheet, and wear your favorite staff member's favorite color, or bring in one of their favorite things!  The PFT will be hosting a Taco Bar lunch for our staff in the lounge! (Happy Cinco de Mayo!)

 

Let's show the Maple Avenue Teachers, Unified Arts, Paras, Special Ed, Admins, Office, Custodial and Cafeteria Staff how much we love them!
